Introduction
The seam fatigue tester is used to evaluate the fatigue resistance
strength of the seams of automotive seat surface materials.
Automotive seat surface materials (such as genuine leather,
synthetic leather, fabric, etc.) are mostly of a spliced and sewn
structure. The sewing strength of the material seams and the
fatigue resistance strength of the seam openings directly affect
the service life of the seat. By testing the strength and lifespan
of the material seams, the service life of the seat can be
effectively predicted and improvement directions for extending the
service life can be provided.

Application fields
The seam fatigue tester is a benchtop model with two working
positions, designed to assess the tear resistance or the elongation
of seam pinholes of textile or leather seat materials. Each test
position is equipped with a pair of corresponding fixtures for
sample fixation, and a height gauge is provided to set the
separation distance of the fixtures at each test position to 140mm.
Instrument features

5. It can be adjusted by point operation, and the test speed is
adjustable.

8. The openable and closable protective cover can protect the
operator's hands and prevent any danger from contact with the test
bench.
Operation Procedure
The operator installs the height setting gauge between the pair of
sample fixtures at the testing position. Align the sewn samples and
hold them in the corresponding position, then remove the height
gauge. Install the second testing position, align the second sample
and hold it in position, then remove the height gauge. Input the
test cycle number into the counter and start the test. Once the set
test cycle is reached, the machine will automatically stop and rely
on visual assessment of the test samples.
