Introduction

The original factory-designed and manufactured tear strength tester has a history of over 75 years. It is recognized as widely compliant with various standards and based on a first-class design. The tear strength tester can quickly and accurately detect the impact tear strength of textiles, films, sheets, paper or boards. There are three models available: mechanical tear strength tester, electric tear strength tester, and heavy-duty tear strength tester. The tear strength tester can provide strength under an impact force ranging from 400MN to 25,600MN. It can quickly and simply add weights to change the test range, and multiple drop hammer configurations can be made to meet the testing requirements of different materials.

Scope of application

Used for the determination of tear strength of various woven fabrics (Elmendorf method), for testing the impact tear strength of textiles, woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, and coated fabrics, and also for the testing of burst strength of silk, cotton fabric, various cardboard, and single-layer and multi-layer corrugated cardboard.
