LR-N009 is the latest nanoparticle analyzer based on the principle
of dynamic light scattering. Adopting high-speed photon correlators
and professional high-performance photomultiplier tubes as core
components, it features rapidity, high resolution, repeatability
and accuracy, and is the preferred product for the determination of
nanoparticle size.
Main performance features
1. Advanced testing principle
This instrument adopts the principle of dynamic light scattering
and photon correlation spectroscopy technology to measure the size
of particles based on their Brownian motion speed in a liquid.
Small particles have a fast Brownian motion speed, while large
particles have a slow Brownian motion speed. When a laser beam is
shone on a moving particle, the light scattered at a certain Angle
(90 degrees is adopted by this instrument) undergoes dynamic
changes over time, and the rate of change is related to the
Brownian motion velocity of the particles in the liquid. The
dynamic scattering spectra were statistically analyzed and
correlated by using the photon correlation spectroscopy method.
Calculate the particle size according to the Stoke-Einstein
equation.
2. High sensitivity and SIGNal-to-noise ratio
HAMAMATSU professional high-performance photomultiplier tube (PMT)
with low dark count and high sensitivity is used as the detector,
which has extremely high sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio for
photon signals, thus ensuring high accuracy and high resolution of
test results;
3. Powerful computing capabilities
To determine the size of nanoscale particles using PCS technology,
it is necessary to be able to resolve signal fluctuations on the
nanosecond scale. The core of the instrument utilizes a high-speed
photon correlator developed by ASIC with a high resolution of 6ns
and extremely high signal processing speed. It can quickly collect
photon numbers and calculate correlation operations in real time,
laying the foundation for test accuracy.
4. Stable optical path system
The photon correlation spectroscopy detection system combined with
a thermostatically controlled high-power semiconductor laser and
optical fiber makes it not only small in size, but also has strong
anti-interference ability and stability, ensuring the repeatability
of the test results;
High-precision temperature control system: the precision of the
sample cell temperature control system and laser temperature
control system can reach ±0.1ºC, so that the sample under test and
the laser light source are at a constant temperature throughout the
test process, avoiding the influence of temperature changes on the
test results and ensuring the accuracy and repeatability of the
test;
5. Super functional analysis software
The inversion algorithm in the analysis software adopts the
cumulative measurement method recommended by international
standards as well as algorithms such as Non-Negative Least Squares
(NNLS) and Contin, and the test results are in good agreement with
similar products of international authorities.
6. Accurate and stable test
The perfect combination of high-performance hardware and
standardized international inversion algorithms makes the test
results of LR-N009 accurate and repeatable, and the test accuracy
and repeatability are higher than the requirements of international
standards.
New heat dissipation system
The new LR-N009 adopts a dual airflow design, where hot air is
discharged directly from the instrument casing. Important parts
such as multiplier tubes, lasers, correlators, etc. are no longer
affected by the hot airflow, resulting in more accurate and stable
measurements, and at the same time, greatly extending the service
life of these important parts.
Automatic sensing sliding door
The new LR-N009 is equipped with an automatic colorimetric door
opening and closing function. The sliding door automatically opens
when the hand is close to the instrument, making it easy for the
tester to reach the colorimetric door, and automatically closes
when the hand is away from the instrument.
This nano particle meter has reached the testing level of foreign
nano particle meter.
