BGD 564 ISO 1519 Cylindrical Mandrel Tester Paint Film Bending Device

1.Description:Designed in accordance with the requirements of "Type II" instruments in the latest standard GB/T 6742-2007 and ISO 1519:2002, it is used to evaluate the crack resistance of coatings of paints, varnishes or related products when bending around a cylindrical axis under standard conditions and/or the performance of peeling off from metal or plastic substrates.

This instrument is composed of three PVC rollers arranged side by side and rotating around the pivot, which can effectively prevent the coating from being damaged and subjected to shear stress during the test process.

The test results are expressed in the following two ways:

1. "Pass/Fail" test, that is, test with a shaft of specified diameter to determine whether the coating meets specific requirements;

2. Conduct tests in sequence with shafts to determine the maximum shaft diameter that causes the coating to crack and/or peel off from the substrate
