1.Description
Rotational viscometers are generally used to test the viscosity value (also called apparent viscosity) of Newtonian or non-Newtonian fluids at a specific rotational speed and under a specific rotor, and in the coatings, inks, adhesives and other polymer materials industry, almost all the resins, emulsions and the materials themselves are non-Newtonian fluids, which show different rheological properties under different shear rates (related to the rotational speed and the shape of the rotor). In order to compare the rheological properties of different materials, the more common method in the industry is to test their thixotropy or dilution index: that is, increase or decrease the speed of the rotor after the viscosity of the material measured by the proportion of the change in the value of the characterization of the degree of shear thinning, or the comparison of the material through the high shear before and after the change in the value of the viscosity of the material to characterize the degree of thixotropy.

According to the rheological characteristics of different materials, BiaoGeDa provides several different types of rheometers, testers can set up different test programs (such as automatically changing the shear rate) according to the test needs, and with the relevant professional software, testers can fully understand and analyze the rheological characteristics of the material, including simulation of the material rheology in different application scenarios.
